Family Services of Southern Wisconsin Invites You to ‘Le Soirée en Blanc’ (The Soirée in White) – A Night of Resilience and Recovery

Family Services of Southern Wisconsin proudly announces 'Le Soirée en Blanc' (The Soirée in White), a transformative evening celebrating resilience, recovery, and triumph over trauma. Scheduled for Saturday, July 13, at the beautiful Glen Erin Celtic House, this evening transcends the traditional fundraiser by honoring the diverse journeys of the individuals and families we serve—including those facing domestic abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, generational poverty, and challenges unique to the LGBTQ+ community and resource-limited neighborhoods. It is a testament to the resilience of all community members as we stand together in solidarity and support.

Marking a significant milestone in the journeys of those we have served in Rock and now Green County for 90 years, 'Le Soirée en Blanc' (The Soirée in White) underscores Family Services' unwavering dedication to supporting the most vulnerable in our communities for years to come. At its core, ‘Le Soiree en Blanc’ (The Soirée in White) is an opportunity for survivors, advocates, and the community to come together, celebrate past and present victories, and renew our collective commitment to a future where such triumphs are even more profound.

The evening features a suggested all-white dress code to symbolize unity and resilience while making a powerful visual statement. This choice underlines our solidarity, showing that, devoid of color, our shared experiences bring us together, fostering a community committed to healing and support.

Event Highlights Include:

Meuiller (the best) Mixology Competition: You be the Judge! Tantalize your tastebuds with craft cocktail creations as local bartenders compete in a mixology contest.

Savor the Flavor: Enjoy a selection of heavy appetizers crafted to tantalize your taste buds by Perfectly Seasoned Catering.

Sweet Indulgences: For those with a sweet tooth, dive into a dessert, candy, and gourmet popcorn bar.

Musical Magic: Experience the delightful tunes of local favorites, Ludy & his Lady, a powerhouse duo who offer music from every genre and generation.

When the lights go down, they'll turn it up! Raffles: Participate in raffles with a chance to win exciting prizes, including a $1,000 piece of jewelry sponsored by The Diamond Center and more.

This event is a heartfelt invitation to all who seek to make a meaningful difference while having an experience they'll endeavor to replicate. 'Le Soirée en Blanc' (The Soirée in White) is a gathering where every ticket and every gesture of support contributes directly to nurturing resilience and fostering recovery in our community. It's an opportunity to be part of a movement of hope and healing, to celebrate progress, and to actively engage in shaping a future where every individual has the support they need to overcome adversity. Join us as we come together to honor this commitment, celebrate our collective effort, and uplift the lives touched by our work at the soiree of the summer!
